Rainey Mortuary Service regretfully announce the demise of Gavan Cheatum of Tuscaloosa, AL. Gavan Cheatum traded time for eternity on Friday, October 13, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 11am at Elizabeth Baptist Church. Burial will follow at New Cumberland Cemetery – Pickensville, AL. Public visitation will be on Friday, October 20, 2023, 1pm – 5pm at Rainey Mortuary Service. The body will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to service. Rainey Mortuary Service in charge of final care.
