James Blackmon Jr.

Rainey Mortuary Service regretfully announce the demise of Mr. James Blackmon Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL.  Mr. James Blackmon Jr. traded time for eternity on Friday, February 16, 2018.  Funeral services for Mr. James Blackmon Jr. will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 12 noon at First Baptist Church with Rev. Carlos Calhoun officiating.  Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. Public visitation will be held at 11am-6pm in the chapel of Rainey Mortuary Service.  Family visitation will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018 6pm-8pm at Rainey Mortuary Service.  Mr. Blackmon was the owner of Blackmon’s Barber Style Salon.  He leaves a wife Mary Ann Blackmon, three children Zonja Renee Hagler,  Shawn and James Blackmon, III, four grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was a pillar of the community who will be missed.  Rainey Mortuary Service in charge of final care.
